Position: Inventory Manager
Reports to: Food and Beverage Managers Employment: Full time Seasonal
Job Description: Responsible for the day to day inventory control/ ordering for the Food and Beverage department. Assists the Executive Chef with administrative responsibilities. Performs monthly inventory counts. Liaises with sales representative’s daily/weekly. Works closely with the Head Chefs and the FOH manager’s to insure that we have the stock required on hand.
Position Requirements/Skills:
· Required to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and may be required to work overtime.
· Report for work on time.
· Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the correct uniform/foot wear and name tag while working
· Be familiar with the menus from all outlets and upcoming functions to assist in ordering processes
· The management and supervision of inventory assistants.
· Notifies the Managers/Supervisors of any issues that need to be addressed
· Helps keep all stock areas clean and organized
· Forklift certificate an asset
· Accepts delivery and puts away
· Delegates and oversees consignment duties to other inventory staff
· Previous experience in shipping and receiving(in the Food and Beverage industry an asset)
· Knowledge of SWP & SJP & WHMIS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Receives all orders and get put away in a timely manner
· Follows the Health Department standards to receiving deliveries
· Checks all deliveries to invoices to ensure that there are no shortages
· On the 1st of each month performs stock counts and inputs into data base
· Liaises with the Sales representatives about pricing/ordering also submits orders to deadlines to ensure deliveries and no shortages of products.
· Assists in the pricing of menus
· Assists the Executive Chef in filing and other administrative tasks.
Physical Demands:
· Spend significant portion of time spent standing and walking
· Lift/push up to 50lbs multiple times a day
· Work outside in cold conditions
Location: Big White Ski Resort
Wages: Starting $17.35/hr
