Definitions
Where used in this Statement, the term “personal information” has the meaning attributed to that term in the Digital Privacy Act 2015(“Privacy Act“).
This Statement has been prepared by SKI RESORT JOBS interchangeably referred to in this Statement as (“SKI RESORT JOBS“, “we“, “us” and “our”).

- stored in the SKI RESORT JOBS Advertiser Centre on behalf of the Advertiser. The SKI RESORT JOBS Advertiser Centre allows Advertisers to easily and effectively manage their recruitment process via one central facility made available by SKI RESORT JOBS.
Registered Users have the option of saving their resumes. This information may also be disclosed to SKI RESORT JOBS’s service providers and contractors from time to time who assist us to deliver our products and services.
SKI RESORT JOBS will also retain this information in order to customise the service we provide to you. For example, SKI RESORT JOBS may use this information to help create a SKI RESORT JOBS Profile that you may choose to use in the future.
By applying to a position advertised on SKI RESORT JOBS you are requesting that SKI RESORT JOBS pass the information to the relevant Advertiser. Any questions you have relating to a position advertised on SKI RESORT JOBS, your online application and/or the status of your application should be directed directly to the Advertiser or their nominated agent, not SKI RESORT JOBS. SKI RESORT JOBS’s role in the online application process is limited to forwarding your online application to the Advertiser, and storing it on their behalf (if requested to do so).
You have the right to request your personal information directly from Advertisers on the Site.
Email communications from SKI RESORT JOBS
SKI RESORT JOBS also provides you with selected information about jobs, job placement and career-related topics in email communications including in our email newsletter ‘SKI RESORT JOBS News Update’. This free service is sent to Registered Users. SKI RESORT JOBS may also make Registered Users aware of additional products and services which form part of your relationship with SKI RESORT JOBS. Storage & Security of Personal Information
SKI RESORT JOBS takes all reasonable steps to ensure the security of our system. SKI RESORT JOBS allows you to access your information at any time to keep it accurate and up to date. Any information which we hold for you is stored on secure servers that are protected in controlled facilities.
In addition, our employees and the contractors who provide services related to our information systems are obliged to respect the confidentiality and privacy of any personal information held by SKI RESORT JOBS. However, SKI RESORT JOBS will not be held responsible for events arising from unauthorised access of your personal information.

Unless you become Registered User and/or submit a job application online, SKI RESORT JOBS does not collect information that identifies you personally. If you become a Registered User, you are able to change, update or clear your Profile at any time by logging in to ‘Profile area of the Site. You can also request your personal information directly from Advertisers who you have applied to via the Site.
SKI RESORT JOBS Partners & Advertisers
SKI RESORT JOBS may disclose and/or makes available online applications to third parties and/or their nominees. The use of your information (personal or otherwise) by these third parties is not within the control of SKI RESORT JOBS and we cannot accept responsibility for the conduct of these companies. This is also the case in respect of a SKI RESORT JOBS Profile that has been provided by SKI RESORT JOBS to an Advertiser in accordance with the paragraph above, ‘SKI RESORT JOBS Profile’.
Advertisers that place job ads on SKI RESORT JOBS, and that purchase SKI RESORT JOBS Profiles are asked by SKI RESORT JOBS to comply with all relevant obligations relating to the use and disclosure of personal information that are outlined in the Privacy Act. SKI RESORT JOBS cannot however guarantee compliance with these obligations.
You may directly contact Advertisers to request access to any personal information that you have sent as part of an application or that has been provided to them as part of a SKI RESORT JOBS Profile.
Data Transfers
Sometimes, we transfer or disclose information to 3rd party contractors including to persons and businesses outside Canada including in United States of America and Europe. By giving us your personal information, you consent to such disclosures. Where we transfer information to persons outside Canada we believe that the recipients of such information are subject to a law, binding scheme or contract which effectively upholds principles for fair handling of the information that are similar in all material respects to the Canadan Privacy Principles outlined in the Privacy Act.
