BReD in Creekside is looking for a baker to join their team for Easter, an opportunity which could lead to more work in the future, for the right candidate. Specializing in 100% plant-based organic sourdough bread, this unique location is dedicated to keeping it fresh and keeping it simple. This position offers an amazing learning opportunity for someone who has previous kitchen experience and looking for exposure into the baking world.
About the Role:
· Part-time, winter (Now-April 3rd) There is potential for more work after this date, for the right candidate.
· Typical Hours: 11am-7pm, four days a week (Wed-Sat). 8 hours/day

The Perfect Candidate:
· Previous baking/kitchen experience is essential. Home bakers need not apply.
· Genuine interest in vegan baking and delivery of delicious product on a daily basis
· High level of standards when it comes to food safety
· Team player mentality
· People person- the kitchen is open concept and sometimes customers get inquisitive of the operations
Responsibilities include:
· Following recipes and guidance of Master Baker. You will be working on making and rolling hot cross buns for the Easter period so experience in making bread is essential.
· Complete tasks in a timely manner
· Monitor inventory levels of ingredients
· Maintain overall cleanliness of kitchen
· Pitch in where needed
· Uphold food safety standards in the location at all time
· Always show up on time, in clean and appropriate attire, and adhere to our grooming policy.

COVID-19 considerations:
To keep the team and customers safe, we all wear masks, have plexiglass installed, hand sanitiser stations, contact tracing in place, a max of 2 customers at a time, and all employees conduct a daily health screening check through a QR code.
