Duties and Responsibilities:
• As a Lodge Housekeeping Attendant you will be required to clean and maintain the lodge common areas and guest rooms while keeping up with standards set by the Manager.
• Responsibilities include, but not limited to; making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, emptying trash, exchanging towels and linens, preparing rooms for the next guests, replenishing guest supplies while they are in house, laundry duties and shoveling.
• Inventory stock takes of lodge cleaning supplies.
• Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests.
• Maintain clean and tidy appearance and work area.
• Work flexible shifts with varying hours, working a 10 hour day, split shifts, for 14 days on, and 7 days off in a remote environment.
• Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, weekends and holidays. This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels
• Position involves standing, bending & walking for extended amounts of time, Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs.
Knowledge/ Qualifications:
• Have a minimum of one year previous experience and knowledge of commercial housekeeping
• WHMIS Certification and ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Team player, yet able to work independently.
• Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment.
• Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
