The Residential Care worker will assist people who have a developmental disability living in a group
residence to participate as fully as possible in their home and community. The RCW ensures that
client’s physical, emotional, social, educational, medical needs are met. This will be accomplished in
co-operation with the residential team and the Program Manager. Employees working in the homes
work a variety of shifts which include weekends, holidays and night sleep and awake shifts.
