Copper Point Golf Club, located in Invermere, British Columbia, is in the heart of the Columbia Valley. We are
a 36-hole facility comprised of two 18-hole golf courses (The Point and The Ridge course) along with driving
range, teaching academy, ball diamonds and new putting course. The Point course is consistently ranked in
the top 35 public courses in Canada and in 2018 it was ranked the 85th best course in Canada by Score Golf. In
2019 The PGABC voted Copper Point facility of the year and TSN raked the Point course #42 Semi-public
course in Canada. With a 177-room luxury Resort this makes Copper Point Golf Club the premier golf property
in the Kootenays.
Reporting to the Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent, this position is responsible for the golf course
grounds conditioning and execution of Ridge and Point courses related Turf care department activities. The
successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be able to recognize the importance of contributing to
the team environment and providing playing conditions of the highest quality to members and club guests.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Assist with the playability and appearance of the Ridge/Point courses, Teaching facilities, and general
landscaping of the property.
• Assist in maintenance and upkeep of bunkers and hazards on both courses daily.
• Assist in the maintenance of greens, tees, fairways, rough, lawns, and native areas.
• Operate string trimmers, backpack blowers, push mowers, fly mowers and utility carts.
• Maintenance and upkeep of cart paths, bridges, clubhouse and other structures common to golf courses.
• Operation of ride-on mowing equipment and utility vehicles with care and respect.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications and Skills
• Individual must be punctual and dependable. (Early mornings)
• Be fit and able to lift and shovel for various construction projects.
• Overtime available. Shift work and days flexible. Weekend shifts.
• Be a team player and work well with co-workers under minimal supervision.
• Have fun working in a team environment.
