The Crystal Lodge & Suites is a Whistler hotel that truly provides every guest with a unique and authentic Whistler experience. While surrounded by gorgeous mountains and the wonderful outdoors, Crystal Lodge is the one hotel that is located in the heart of Whistler Village.

We are seeking a Reservations Agent to join the team on a full-time basis! This is a great opportunity for someone with sales, reservations or hotel front desk experience who knows Whistler and all of its amenities and activities very well.

The Reservations Agent’s primary role will be to provide a high level of customer service and drive sales, whilst responding to inquiries and completing reservations via e-mail, online and on the telephone. You will be expected to answer all incoming calls from current, new and returning guests who wish to stay with us whilst tailoring their needs to enhance their stay with us, but also drive revenue of the hotel.

You will provide efficient and informative advice to all customers that ensures that not only their needs are met in regard to hotel amenities, but also that the room they are looking to book meets their requirements.

Learning about our customers’ stay is essential, and any information you received is to be provided to the front desk and housekeeping team to ensure that the Crystal Lodge & Suites remains a top choice here in Whistler. You will be required to up-sell products and packages available to the guests at the time of booking.

This role supports the Revenue Manager, Sales & Marketing Coordinator and Sales Coordinator. You will also work closely with the Front Desk Team.

The ideal candidate will have either Front Desk or reservations experience within a medium-sized property. Previous experience within a customer service setting is essential, and any experience in a sales role is desirable.

You will be a positive and motivated team player who can provide outstanding customer service to our guests and have the ability to identify where revenue can be maximized. You must be local to Whistler and already have knowledge of all of its amenities and activities.

Excellent computer, communication (written and oral), organizational and time management skills, along with the ability to manage tight deadlines are essential.
