Full Cycle Bookkeeper with experienced skill level is required for a local Bookkeeping and Payroll organization located in Function Junction. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Specific skills include reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance, post journal entries, calculate fixed asset and depreciation
• Maintain general ledgers, cash and financial statements
• Keep financial records and establish maintain and balance various accounts as required
• Government Remittances
• Accounts Payable/Receivable
• Maintain and prepare year end documentation for accountant
• Maintain and prepare Excel spreadsheets
• Full commend, knowledge, and full cycle bookkeeping
• CRA Regulations (WSIB, Source Deductions, EHT, HST, T4 etc) Comply with government reporting requirements
• A/R, A/P,
• Reconcile and maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts
• Ability to identify problems and implement solutions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines

REQUIREMENTS:
• Proven bookkeeping experience for a variety of clients in different industries
• Minimum working experience 3-5 years
• Bookkeeping, Accounting or Business Administration Certificate or Diploma is a plus
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Sage 50, XERO, Quickbooks Online
• Excellent and advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Answering support questions from clients related to bookkeeping and payroll matters as well as maintaining client relationships
• Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Ability to work autonomously while being part of our team
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail

EXPERIENCE:
• Bookkeeping: 3+ years (Required)
• Sage 50 : 3+ years (Required)
• QuickBooks online: 1-2 years (Prefered)
• Xero: 1-2 years (Required)
