-You are a journeyman automotive mechanic (will consider 4th year apprentices as well)
-You enjoy working with a team, have strong communication skills, yet you have the ability to work independently
-You show interest in repairing all makes & models of vehicles, and you really have a lot if interest in light duty diesel pickups up to a 2-ton chassis
-You’re flexible
-You prioritize health and safety
-You take pride in completing a job in a timely and efficient manner
-You can provide your own tools
-You have a class 5 driver’s license

A day in the life of an automotive service technician at Bighorn Auto will include, but not be limited to the following:
– Inspecting vehicle engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately
– Diagnosing vehicle computer and electronic systems to repair, maintain and upgrade
– Conducting routine maintenance work
– Maintain clear and accurate work orders
– Maintain equipment and tools in good condition
– Maintain clear communication with office staff & professional interactions with customers
Requirements
– Proven experience as an automotive service technician
– Excellent knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic components of vehicles
– Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems and methods
– Ability to operate shop equipment safely and efficiently
– Willingness to observe all safety precautions for protections against accidents, dangerous fluids, chemicals etc.
