Currently West Coast Grill in Kelowna is looking for a permanent, full-time Line Cook. A Line Cook prepares dishes to order in a professional manner in accordance with the standards set by West Coast Grill. Successful candidates will have the ability to work at a fast pace, under pressure, without sacrificing quality and be able to demonstrate flexibility within their role.
Qualifications:
- Must have previous work experience in a commercial environment
- Ability to work on your feet all day and lift light to medium loads
- Valid Food Safe qualification
- Level 1 First Aid training is an asset
- Requires ability to give attention to detail and to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and efficiently
- Polite, enthusiastic & caring demeanor
- Real passion for food and creative flair
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure both independently, as well as in a team environment
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
