High Mountain Brewing Co. is Hiring!
We are looking for a new team member to fill the role of front of house service manager at our craft brewpub in Whistler, BC. If you are reliable, enthusiastic, and have a good work ethic, then we want to hear from you.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Open and closing of the restaurant
- Daily cash reconciliation and counting floats
- Ordering supplies
- Implement effective controls to ensure labour and productivity are being managed consistently
- Running the floor on managing shift
- Ensure information on special promotions, events and opportunities are communicated to all service group members and are displayed in waiting areas
- Ensure that service standards are met or exceeded with each guest
- Recognize group members (host, servers, bartenders, pub porters) on the floor; Catch people doing things right!
- Support group members through training and instruction as required
- Lead service group meetings and participate in other meetings
Requirements:
- Superior customer service skills are a must
- Must be at least 19+ years of age and legally able to work in Canada
- Must have Serving It Right certificate
- Food Safe Level 1 preferred
- Minimum 1 year of management experience in a full-service restaurant preferred
Must be respectful and courteous to your co-workers and customers - Able to work positively within a team environment
- Able to promote and market products, and answer customer questions regarding products
- Able to read and speak fluently in English
- Must be reliable and have a strong work ethic
- Excellent cash handling skills
- Position requires bending, standing, lifting, and walking constantly; long periods of time will be spent on your feet
