Lodge Housekeeping Attendant at Chatter Creek Mountain Lodges

Duties and Responsibilities:
• As a Lodge Housekeeping Attendant you will be required to clean and maintain the lodge common areas and guest rooms while keeping up with standards set by the Manager
• Responsibilities include making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming, emptying trash, exchanging towels and linens, preparing rooms for the next guests, replenishing guest unit supplies while they are in house, laundry duties and shoveling.
• Ensure high level of customer service is maintained at all times
• Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests
• Maintain clean and tidy appearance and work area
• Be trustworthy and punctual
• Work flexible shifts with varying hours, 10 hour day split shifts for 14 days, and 7 days off in a remote environment.
• Must be flexible and adaptable under changing conditions, priorities, and unexpected situations
• This position may require overtime and altered scheduling according to occupancy levels
Knowledge/ Qualifications:
• Have a minimum of one year previous experience and knowledge of commercial housekeeping
• WHMIS Certification and ability to work with cleaning chemicals
• Exceptional interpersonal skills to enhanced service standards
• Excellent communication and guest service
• Team player, yet able to work independently. Be responsible and conscientious.
• Ability to work effectively in an innovative, fast-paced, and multi-tasked environment.
• Position involves standing, bending & walking for extended amounts of time.
• Must be able to lift and carry 40lbs.
• Having lodge experience an asset
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Staff Accommodation: We offer staff accommodation at no cost to the staff while on shift.
Staff Meal Plan: Staff member eats the same as the guests at no cost to the staff while on shift.
Travel To Lodge: We offer staff transportation to our backcountry lodge from Donald, BC at no cost to the staff. Must have reliable transportation to our staff staging area.
