This is a LABOUR /CLEANING position with a significant amount of janitorial work.
We are seeking a qualified Seasonal Campground Maintenance Worker that has an array of skills and experience related to grounds maintenance, small equipment and tools and loves being outside. If this sounds like you, we want you to join our team in the Bow Valley Provincial Park, a 25 minutes east of beautiful Canmore, Alberta for the upcoming camping season.
We operate eight campgrounds of varying sizes, seven private group camps and 36 day use areas throughout Canmore and the Kananaskis Region. In this position, you will work across all locations, both individually and as a part of a small team, task depending.
The successful candidates will travel amongst these assigned areas and ensure the property grounds, services and amenities are cleaned and maintained, any issues or concerns documented and fixed onsite, ongoing maintenance of facilities are promptly and professionally minded and areas are neat and orderly to exceed Alberta Parks standards. You may also be asked to assist in areas for janitorial work, lawn and tree maintenance, firewood delivery and sales, etc.

Requirements:
-3 Professional references
-Valid driver’s license
-Ability to lift 50lbs and more
-Experience using lawn equipment
-Experience with chainsaw and wood cutting equipment
-Experience driving a skid steer
-Experience using basic tools and equipment such as saws, drills, shovels, etc.
Wages: $16.50/hr
