Do you love dogs? Want to work outside for the winter? We are hiring for the position of Dogsled Tour guide, for the winter season (to April 30, 2023). Work with teams of 6-7 sled dogs and provide guests with an unforgettable winter experience! The two hour tours run up to 4 times per day, and kennel work is required before and after tours. Previous guiding experience or animal experience an asset. Must be physically fit, love dogs, able to lift heavy items, and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions. Guides are required to have or obtain a standard first aid certification. Driver’s license and vehicle, or reliable transportation is required, as the location of work is 10km outside of Canmore. Work shift includes weekends, and can be up to 12 hours a day.
Wages: $16-18 per hour, depending upon experience, plus gratuities and bonus.
