Hi,
We are looking for a few servers next week and if you are free to help, we would like to get you onboard at the Whistler Conference Centre. The shifts we have available are:
Friday January 29th @ 9:30PM
Saturday February @ 9:00PM or 9:30PM
The shifts usually last between 6 and 8 (maximum) hours, but a full 8.5-hour availability is expected (the 30 Min extra is to allow for a break). To be hired you will be required to commit to at least one shift. After that you are then free to pick and choose the shifts to suit your needs/availability each time we have shifts available.
Casual banquet staff start at a wage of $19/hour. For every 15 shifts you work you will receive a wage increase of $0.75 up to a maximum rate of $23/hour based on training acquired.
If you are still interested in working please let me know by responding to this email with which shift you are available for. Please also attach your resume to your email. You will need to be available for about 30 min on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday to come into the office and fill in paperwork prior to your first shift. Please let me know at what time and day you would like to drop by.
To complete the hiring process, we will need to have with you:
– Resume
– SIN
– Serving it Right certificate (or other Canadian Provincial equivalent)
– Void Cheque/printout from bank for direct deposit
– BC Care Card (or other Canadian Provincial equivalent)/Travel insurance if on work permit
– Work permit/PR if non Canadian.
Without the above documents we will not be able to complete your hiring process.
When you come to fill your paperwork please use the Staff entrance located behind the Conference Centre. You can access it by coming down the concrete staircase to the left of the FuJi Market and Subway.
We will go over all the details when you come in but remember that you will need: Black dress shoes, Black socks and Black dress pants (No jeans, No skin tight pants) for the first shift you are scheduled for.
