Wild Water Adventures is currently seeking customer focused and energetic people to join our team of Base Managers. This position is tailored to those looking for an opportunity to work in an outdoor adventure environment. Tasks are varied and diverse and each day you will learn to handle new challenges. The river base team is our front desk staff and the face of our company with opportunities to grow.
Duties include preparing the river base for the daily rafting trips, vehicle preparation, cleaning, light general maintenance, guest registration, customer service, trip sales and operating the retail shop and trip radio.
As well as being keen to work with our guests one on one, you must be self-motivated and able to work both by yourself and in a team environment. We are a small but busy operation that relies on a cohesive team.
As a base manager, you will be challenged to raise your guest service skills and improve your ability to “think on your feet”.

We look for those with proven experience in the following areas:
· Responsible, mature, self-starter who enjoys variety in his or her position
· Flexible (changes may happen quickly and often through the course of a day!)
· Possess great communication skills with people, both staff and guests
· Have a basic knowledge of vehicles and an understanding of simple building operations
· Keen to participate in, and understand, the necessity of providing a clean environment for our rafting guests – you will be required to clean the river base, changerooms and guest areas on a daily basis
· Be thorough, honest trustworthy, and reliable – our guests depend on it!
· Creative problem solver – must be resourceful and able to work quickly and under pressure
· Great with logistics and numbers – you will be operating our retail area, performing cash outs as well as checking guests in prior to their trip.
· Clean driving license – held for a minimum of 3 years – this a must!!
Position May to Mid September. Accommodation may be available but preference to those who have their own accommodation near Golden, BC.
