The Dock Operations Crew has a wide range of responsibilities from aircraft fueling, placement, baggage organization, and passenger safety. With an ability to take service to a higher level, the Dock Operations Crew is responsible for safe ground operations support as they offer friendly, efficient and professional service.

 

WORK HOURS: Shifts will vary based on operational needs.  Shifts will include working weekends.

LOCATION: Whistler Floatplane Base – Nicklaus North, Green Lake

TERM: Full-Time and Part-Time Temporary Positions Available (April 15th – September 30th, 2020)

DEPARTMENT: Ground Operations

Responsibilities and Expectations

– Safely plan aircraft placement at dock
– Marshal aircraft as they enter the docking area
– Greet passengers and assist them on and off the aircraft
– Baggage organization and control
– Ship and receive cargo
– Releasing, receiving and securing aircraft
– Washing and detailing the exterior and interior of the aircraft
– Perform aircraft fueling and turnaround procedures as required

Qualifications/Assets

·         Safety First – personally and as a team, committed to safety; strong situational safety awareness

·         Superior customer service skills – willing to take service to a higher level

·         Proven ability to be an effective member of a team

·         Ability to lift heavy baggage (75lbs) and perform other active tasks

·         Ability to multi-task and prioritize assignments in a fast paced time-sensitive environment

·         Ability to work flexible schedules including: evenings, weekends, and holidays

·         Aviation and/or marina experience is an asset

·         Enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather conditions

·         Class 4 Drivers License an asset but not necessary
