Our Aussie pies have become legendary amongst locals, and make the “must do” list of many visitors to Whistler. We are seeking a Store Manager who wants to create a positive personal impact on customers and staff at our Peaked Pies Whistler location.
As the Store Manager you will have a passion for food, coffee, customer service and creating a dynamic team at Peaked Pies. You will partake in the daily operations but also anticipate future needs of the business while maintaining a profitable store. You understand the importance in selection, training and development of your team to create a fun and enjoyable workspace. We want our customers and staff to feel at home and welcomed at every visit.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Operational Management; monitoring food stock, equipment and store maintenance
Financial Management; planning and working with KPI’s, monthly review of financial statements, monthly inventory, monitoring food and labour costs
People Management; recruiting, training, staff development, motivating and encouraging staff, performance reviews and staff scheduling
Food Safe/Health & Safety Management; Implementing, and instilling in the team, company culture, policies and procedures
Requirements:
Minimum 6 months working in a fast paced restaurant, cafe or bakery
Minimum 3 years experience managing/supervising a team of at least 5 staff
Able to work a flexible schedule which includes evenings and weekends.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
Fluent in English
This is a full time, long term position with profit sharing incentives. Compensation $45,000 – $55,000 OTE plus Ski Pass contribution. Please email a full cover letter and resume.
