Tod Mountain Cafe is a popular cafe that serves breakfast and lunch in middle of Sun Peaks Village. We serve a variety of unique, hand made crepes, bagels, wraps, panini’s and pastries.
We are currently seeking an energetic, responsible, and dedicated barista/cafe server to join our team.
The position entails working 4 – 5 shifts per week as a barista and server. We are looking specifically for candidates who have previously worked in the food service industry (i.e.: in a coffee shop or restaurant). We are looking for applicants with flexible availability throughout the week – in addition, candidates must be available to work weekends.

Job responsibilities include the following:
- Working in the Kitchen line
- Prepare or serve hot or cold beverages, such as coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, or teas
- Clean and/or sanitize work areas, utensils, or equipment
- Clean service and seating areas in restaurant
- Check temperatures of freezers, refrigerators, or heating equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Describe menu items to customers or suggest products that might appeal to them
- Order, receive, or stock supplies or retail products
- Provide customers with product details, such as information about ingredients or coffee blends
- Receive and process customer payments
- Opening and closing duties
