Responsibilities:
Providing daily oversight of all Food & Beverage operations including; Sky Bistro, Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen, Castle Mountain Coffee Company, Starbucks and the Rooftop Patio Lounge
Oversee all day-to-day operations and logistical organization while increasing sales and profitability and consistently delivering on exceptional guest service standards by exceeding expectations
Ability to lead high-end dining experiences & continue to position Sky Bistro as a top-rated restaurant in the region and focus to continue to drive this outlet to national and international recognition
Experience with brand development and ability to drive the recently renovated Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen as a top dining destination in the region with an understanding of high volume dining
Continue to drive guest and employee experiences while assisting with the recruitment, training, development and retention of high quality team members and leaders
Create and nurture a world class environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement and a passion for providing exceptional service and of being Ultimate Hosts
Anticipate key issues and informational needs and be prepared to discuss ongoing performance and functions that will enhance the performance of all Banff Gondola Food & Beverage operations
Preparation of monthly forecasting and reports and assist in the development, implementation and monitoring the budget to maximize revenues
Develop, implement and manage; budgets, forecasts, inventory and operating cost for the various outlets to maximize revenue and minimize expense
Provide leadership and coaching that fosters an environment of problem solving, service, teamwork, accuracy and speed, improved business practices and attract and retain superior talent on our team
Make employee and guest safety a cultural cornerstone to maintain our reputation as an industry leader
While reporting to the Director of Hospitality, establish strong relationships with Pursuit Collection leadership based on deep understanding, acumen and knowledge of the Company’s business, strategy, plans and performance
Understanding of international clientele and ability to deliver results to highest global standards
Collect, communicate and lead the efforts to know and understand our customers, guest trends, innovation, and product development
Interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service level; review feedback from guests through Social Media and Guest Satisfaction Surveys and drive goals to increase scores
Staffing, training, development, staff meetings, scheduling and payroll submissions
Ownership of all planning and execution of functions and events throughout all outlets and operations
Ordering, inventory and stock take along with ability for coding and remittance of all invoices
Assist in development and execution of marketing strategies and F&B promotions for all outlets

Qualifications:
10+ years of leadership experience in the hospitality, travel and tourism industries
Proven multiple unit Food & Beverage management experience
Working knowledge and ability to manage various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Up to date with international global food and beverage trends and best practices
Thrives in a fast paced, high volume and high energy work environment
Experience with best in class operating systems, training, staff development and the operational management of large and complex operations
Expertise in building relationships and working on teams across all levels of an organization, particularly with operating teams, line supervisors, seasonal staff from a broad range of backgrounds
Able to create “followership” through modeling our core values and best practices Capable of inspiring teams to drive speed and performance within the organization
Experience with financial management and creating strong employee and guest satisfaction
Strong experience across a broad range of food and beverage activities, meetings/events and functions
Wine knowledge and fine dining management experience
