Division: COWS Ice Cream
Summary of Position:
The Ice Cream Scooper is responsible for providing “COWS World Class Service” to our customers in serving COWS premium ice cream and related products. The ideal candidate is high-spirited, energized by giving customers a wonderful COWS experience, and up to the challenge of an upbeat, fast-paced environment. This person is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the ice cream counter, and is expected to be a team player.
Duties Include (but are not limited to):
· Demonstrating an excellence for customer service
· Greeting and serving ice cream products customers, in accordance with COWS’ methods and following all safe food handling practices
· Knowledge about and ability to prepare all menu items
· Preparation of cone batter, waffle cones and dishes
· Replenishing paper supplies and syrup toppings
· Handling cash – accurately processing transactions, taking payment and making change
· Maintaining COWS high standards for cleanliness within the store
· Maintaining a clean, fresh personal appearance at all times
· Other duties as assigned by a Supervisor / Manager
Qualifications:
· Has high energy, a warm pleasant attitude, outgoing, and is a team player
· Displays good communication skills, formally & informally
· Has good organizational skills
· Is flexible, motivated, and eager to contribute
· Has a sense of humor
· Has a competitive spirit
Physical Requirements:
· Repetitive tasks, specifically in the wrists
· Bending, lifting up to 30 lbs.
· Standing for the duration of the shift
