Job duties and Requirements:

•       Must be able to work under pressure

•       A team player who works well with others

•       Prepare and cook complete meals

•       Portion, organize and stock food

•       Cleaning of meats/poultry and seafood

•       Allocate work and supervise kitchen helpers

•       Input on menus, ensure quality of food and determine size of food proportions

•       Plating techniques

•       Ensure good kitchen hygiene

•       Familiarity and ease with use of knives and other kitchen equipment is essential.

•       Cleanliness is essential

•       Perform duties as required by Head Chef

•       2 years of related kitchen experience

•       Good communication and organizational skills

•       Able to work on flexible shifts

•       Available to work holidays and weekends

 

Other duties may also include:

•       Dishwashing

•       General cleaning of kitchen and equipment

Wages: $19 per hour to start
